    For all those brave enough to test their friend’s coordination take a seat at the stage. Eating has never been this fun!
    Ninin Baori will take place. The literal translation for this contest is the "two-person coat". It is a fun way to test a pair's coordination and cooperation. Two participants per group will get into the same "haori", or Japanese style coat, one sitting bravely in front with their hands at their side, the other, kneeling behind the sitting partner covered and unable to see. The contest is to determine which "blinded" partner can act as the best pair of arms by doing things like feeding their part sitting partner or putting on makeup on their face.

    Learn what it takes to become a sushi chef.
    Professional chefs from the Sushi Chef Institute will walk you through the steps as you roll and wrap your very own sushi. Provided with the freshest ingredients, all that is left to add is a little bit of fun to make your sushi perfect.

    Who's the best sushi chef in the west?
    You decide at Sushi Chef Battle.
    The main Japanese food battle will be the "Sushi Chef Battle," in which a panel of judges will decide who the fastest, most creative, and all around best sushi chef is. We will be selecting our judges from the audience at this festival, so if you have a good eye and a keen taste for delicious sushi, step right up and help decide between the best of the best.

    Bowl, after bowl, after bowl of delicious soba noodles…sure the noodles look small, but can you beat the record?
    A "Wanko Soba Battle” will take place. This all you can eat speed eating contest pits contestants against server as they try to consume as many bowls of soba noodles as possible. Multiple bowls of soba noodles are set out and as soon as one is finished, the server will refill it with another bowl until the contestant can’t eat anymore and surrenders. The competition comes into play in beating the record of the day.
